Overall, customers value the café’s combination of comforting food, cleanliness, and a variety of choices that cater to diverse dietary preferences.
Didn’t expect much from a hospital cafe, but wow — the staff were kind, and the desserts are seriously underrated. The chocolate brownie was excellent!
Great variety on the menu, and everything tastes homemade. The soups are especially good — warm, hearty, and comforting.
Surprisingly good food, friendly staff, and a peaceful atmosphere — a comforting break during hospital visits or long shifts.
I had a short wait before visiting hours and grabbed a sandwich and tea. Everything was fresh, and the seating area was tidy and comfortable.
Very impressed by the options for vegetarians. The grilled veggie wrap was tasty and filling — and not overly salty like you’d expect from fast food.
Stopped in for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. The salad was crisp, the bread warm, and the whole place felt calm and inviting.
I don't get why there are so many complaints in the reviews. I've been here recently and the food options are good. The drinks cabinets alone have so many options. As for the prices, I find they are comparable to other hospital cafes. While it's true they have a captive audience, the prices are not that different to other hospital cafes. I've been to other places which are pricier. I came with someone and they seem happy with their food and drink choices too. The service I received was fine. There were so many customers so I understand if the staff just wanted to serve people and move on.
5 stars is not enough for the service we have received today from Ash, such a good young man. We have seen him in other hospitals before and he always remembers me and my mom and remember our coffee order. Food was delicious and the coffee is spectacular.
One of the best in-hospital cafe in Melbourne. Foods are absolutely amazing within a reasonable price range. Highly recommend the lamb with vegetable and fries.
